my bf and i just bought a Smilodon computer case with a 500 watt power supply.
we tried firing it up tonight to see how all the fans worked, but when we plugged it in, nothing happened. :[
did we get a dud?
is there something obvious we may be missing?

Does anyone know of anywhere to get a small loan (about $500, but possibly less) for school, without needing a cosigner?
I'm attending a community college and I usually pay out of pocket. I don't think I'll have enough saved up to pay my tuition by August 11th, and if you don't pay on time, they drop you from your courses. I also don't really have any cosigners, as my parents have incredibly poor credit. I have to be full-time credit-wise to stay on my parent's insurance. I feel like I'm drowning or something. Please help.

| Cheap Honeymoon Ideas -WITHOUT CAR? |

Hi All,
You guys are so helpful! My fiance and I are getting married in October so I'm here looking for cheap honeymoon ideas. I originally didn't think we could do a honeymoon as we're spending all our funds and help from our parents on the wedding itself and originally, I was ok with this. Now, the more planning I do, the more I'm thinking I actually would like one. However, with all the money used or budgeted already, we really don't have much to work with.
My fiance has vacation time coming up that would add a little bit and if we get a substantial amount from wedding gifts itself, we could use some from that and do something small, possibl. However, most of the cheap honeymoon ideas I've come across involve cars and neither of us has one although we both have liceneces.
So my question is for the cheapest honeymoon/small romantic trip ideas anyone has that don't require a car. Or ones that would be worth it and still cheap to rent a car? We're in NYC and theres not many cheap offerings around, I'm from upstate NY so we kind of don't want to go up there either as that's all things we've done already. Our weddings October 30th so we'd be going sometime in Novemeber or December, if we can possibly pull this off. But I have advanced lyme disease that's strongly aggravated by the cold so preferably, I don't want to go anywhere that will be super cold during this time either.
So we have a ton of restrictions! If anyone has any tips on anything, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has pancreatic cancer and the illness is life-threatening, South Korean broadcaster YTN said on Monday based on information gathered by Chinese and South Korean intelligence sources.
Kim's health is one of the most closely guarded secrets in the reclusive communist state. Kim, 67, was widely thought to have suffered a stroke last year, but there has never been official confirmation.
Kim's health raises questions about succession in Asia's only communist dynasty and who will control its nuclear weapons programs.
The North conducted its second nuclear test on May 25, which was met by U.N. sanctions aimed at cutting off the impoverished state's lucrative arms trade and one of its few sources of hard cash.
South Korean officials have said the North's recent military grandstanding that also included missiles launches and threats to attack the South is linked to efforts to pave the way for Kim's youngest son to take over.
Kim took power in 1994 when his father died at the age of 82. He assumed the title of general secretary of the Workers' Party and chairman of the National Defense Commission, but has never taken the title of president.

My roommate dropped a metal bar (part of a hammock we were putting together) on my toe about 3.5 months ago. It hurt like a motherfucker for like.. a day. It just recently began chipping off near the cuticle, or at least that's what it looks like. Yum.
